Email swiftly sorted.

E-mail was their most important tool. It was broken. They needed it fixed yesterday.

The Situation

The client is an executive search firm that lives or dies by the availability of their email as well as the files that they store on local servers. The infrastructure was failing. It was causing them issues nearly every day. Staff members were spread out throughout the United States.

A disruption in a key communication tool was not an optionThey knew it had to be fixed, and they knew they had already waited too long. But they did not know whether they should invest in infrastructure or plan a move to Office 365.

They also knew that upending the way their employees work would also be a disaster. The failing infrastructure was already a problem. They didn’t need to replace one distraction with another.

► The client’s e-mail and file sharing became more reliable

► There was no disruption to the business and adoption was painless as users could continue to do things in a familiar way

► he migration was completed without any unplanned downtime

► New productivity tools are now available

The Solution

The client engaged ASMGi to consult with them and help them determine the best path forward.

ASMGi made business continuity the focus and crafted a plan to ensure that much of what their users did on a daily basis could be replicated in Office 365 with minimal change in how the users currently worked.

Their users access to email and file shares on SharePoint where configured to mimic the current way the users worked allowing them to continue focusing on their client delivery and not a total change in the way they work. Some users didn’t even know there was a change.

The ASMGi Advantage

The configuration selected for the client allowed additional features packaged with Office 365 to be used without additional cost. While the key pieces of their daily work routine were moved immediately to Office 365, additional features were to be rolled out at a controlled pace. This minimized any disruptions to their daily routines while providing additional tools to increase productivity and collaboration.
