Leaders In Cyber Security Will Present And Conduct Panels On Biggest Cyber Security Issues Facing Organizations Today

Cleveland, OH – October 17, 2019 – ASMGi, a leader in IT, security and software services today announced that Steven Roesing, president and CEO of ASMGi will host and conduct a series of cyber security panel discussions at the upcoming Information Security Summit, October 21-25, 2019 at The Cleveland I-X Center.

“Our TraX will feature some of the foremost {best known} thought leaders in cyber security,” explained Steve Roesing, president and CEO of ASMGi. “We are looking at the key issues in cyber security and our sessions and panel discussions will zero in on viable methods and solutions available to organizations today to combat their cyber security challenges and threats.  These sessions will be interactive and feature panel discussions along with presentations.  Attendees can come to as many sessions as they like.”

Cyber Risk TraX: Thursday Oct. 24 – What is the difference between a methodology and a framework, and which methodology and/or framework will help me achieve my goals? Our sessions, moderated by Steve Roesing include presentations by industry luminaries Bradford Cross of Tower Street, Jack Jones of the Fair Institute and RiskLens, Simon Crosby of SWIM.ai, and Guy Bejerano of SafeBreach and Tony Kubinski of Malwarebytes, discussing the specifics of quantifying cyber risk, real-time attack simulations, and increasing threat of malware to businesses. The sessions and panel discussions will share approaches for identifying / managing cyber risk, and introduce some emerging trends regarding quantification, prioritization and treatment of risk.

Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning TraX: Friday Oct 25 – Can AI/ML help us solve real cyber problems and protect our data? These sessions, led by Steve Roesing will have an outstanding lineup of cybersecurity experts including Simon Crosby of SWIM.ai, Tom Tully of the Cleveland Clinic and Tamer Baker of Forescout will present and conduct panel discussions on how AI/ML is being used to identify risks and anomalous behaviors and ultimately automate detection and response to cyber threats.

A special tribute to the 50th Anniversary of the Internet will occur Wednesday, Oct. 23rd with a live video feed from Dr. Len Kleinrock of UCLA.  Dr. Kleinrock will engage in a discussion with Steve Roesing to highlight that historic event on Oct. 29, 1969 when Dr. Kleinrock’s team sent the first message over the ARPAnet, transforming his mathematical theory of packet switching into what would become the modern Internet.   The discussion will cover events that have occurred over the past 50 years and conclude with a discussion on the next 50 years.  Dr. Kleinrock will also hold an event on Oct. 29, 2019 at UCLA.  More information can be found on the UCLA website: https://samueli.ucla.edu/internet50/
